Hypnotic, indie pop band TV Girl will return to Europe this summer! The Americans have planned one stop in our country - on August 26, they will perform in Warsaw at the Summer Stage of Progresja.
TV Girl was founded in 2010, and currently consists of Brad Petering, Jason Wyman, and Wyatt Harmon. Already with the release of their first EPs, the band's music captured the attention of audiences worldwide, but their recognition soared with the release of their debut album "French Exit" in 2014. This album combines sampled beats with light guitar sounds and ethereal vocals, featuring timeless pop hooks and songs driven by various moods - summer nostalgia, love, longing for attachment, or even a desire for revenge. The band continued their artistic vision on their next two albums - "Who Really Cares" released in 2016, where references to 90s hip-hop aesthetics and modern psychedelic pop can be found, and their latest work, "Grapes Upon the Vine", which explores gospel themes of love, faith, and death.
In recent years, their songs have gone viral, but despite immense success, the band remains faithful to a DIY approach. TV Girl manages perfectly well without a manager or record label, composing and planning their tour calendars on their own terms. At the end of August, the group will return to Poland and perform in Warsaw at the Summer Stage of Progresja!
