Made in Homiel, reborn in Warsaw. Sož band is redefining Belarusan post-punk wave with a more dynamic, high-energy approach. Recently,along with their fellow musicians from the “Belarusan Cold Wave in Poland” scene, they sold out the People of the East festival in Warsaw. Belarusan post-punk has become a global brand, but Sož distinguishes themselves by eschewing the “post-Soviet” label. Instead, they illuminate Belarusan society, reflecting on its post-colonial struggle for self-definition.
